eh? so fast can see liao ????
can. since july it passed -2.0 magnitude, which means it's bright enough to be noticed. it suppose to appear reddish or orangish, even yellowish. go look at your skies tonight.
on the 28th, sun, earth and mars will form a straight line which happens just about every 26 months, but this time will be the closest because mars will be very near its closet point to the sun within its' elliptical orbit.
It's also noted that tho the straight line event known as opposition will occur on the 28, mars will be closest to earth on the 27. and though it's bright enough to be spotted now, it shall be the brightest object in the sky after the moon and venus (mag. -4.0 i think) then at magnitude -2.9
