I saw a David Beckham on Sunday(13/07/2003)

Once again we meet up for a game of Soccer at Bugis on Sunday morning. I was late for the scheduled kickoff but somehow I was not the only one.
Then in came Kopiosatu with the distinctive all white England jersey of his. Didn't really bother abt it until he showed me his Adidas boots... wah seh, almost a replica of David Beckham's all white boots.
Man, I tell you guys... on the left of his boot has the word 'Prata' stitched on it and his right boot has the Initials 'CW' on it. No guessing who CW is lah.
Dun be decieved by Kopiosatu's Boh Chap attitude @work but when he's on the playing field... He's on fire... We saw a David Beckham in him... man, he was crossing loads of balls on the right but loads of them end up on the far end of the field.
But I was honoured to play against Kopi in my only second game of the Season wif www and gang. -

baseline didnt make my life easier as he was the last man in my opponent.
basically, i kept seeing two red jerseys (one of them is base) when i was about to dash towards goal mouths.
the bumpy field conditions didnt help much either. but we all had fun. -

Hope this attracts more closet footballers to come out of their house and display their Ronaldos, Ronaldinhos, Beckhams, Figos, Zidane's in them. It's a gd time to get to know each other too. -
