  good music transcends generations..
  
  only the bad ones sound dated...
  
  ella fitzgerald still sounds wonderful... as do the beatles and elvis.. just like sheryl crow now will sound just as good many years from now
  
  notice rubbish like the spicegirls sound very bad after a few months... while sarah mclachlan still sounds wonderful.. they were from about the same time
