tatz new... but since the innards are still inside.. i'll give it a miss. I'm the squeamish sort.. it takes only one ah-pek at the next table to go "ka-pui" and i immediated loses my appetiteOriginally posted by the Bear:i guess so.. but there's something that they never seem to have.. something which is delicious... the teochew call it "sek hir" (literally cooked fish)... can buy this from the market.. the fish is already cooked.. sometimes they have other things like squid and crab... it's cooked as is, which means that it is usually cooked immediately by the fishermen when caught.. so it's very fresh.. oh, not for the squeamish tho'.. the innards and stuff are all still inside..

hmmm.. mutton.. like beef can be eaten raw or partially cooked.. in fact, best when done rare, and still very pink...

Think the grossest thing is the raw urchin and also duck's tongue -
i only dare to eat the real tiny ones. my fren likes the eye of the curry fish head and also the lips. Gross. The last time i took curry fish head wif him i have to look away while he gobbles them up. And tat's the last time i'm eat curry fish head wif him. Brrrrr.... -

i used to ate some chicken-like meat, those one strand one strand one, only after i've eaten a few till my mum say i am eating frogs legs..
but i am glad i din rush to the toilet coz there's no toilets around!

see the shops selling roast or braised ducks? can buy the head with the neck.. the head quite nice to eat... they will chop it such that the head is split down the centre.. can eat the brain
and pig brain soup nice
one of my friends also like that with the bugs.. he bought a bag there, ate 1.. picked up the next and looked at it.. then threw away the bag.. he said "i looked at it.. then the thing like look back at me like that.. felt sick so throw away"
