Has anyone been in the situation where your bf's ex just won't leave you two along, even after months and months has gone by? In the beginning she tried to break you two up but without success; so now she just keeps on calling and messaging him and trying to get him back. She goes around telling people that they are still a couple, calling you an ugly bitch, etc.

i guess since i'm a guy let's reverse the roles: my gal's ex is hounding her.
suddenly all these subjective thoughts come into my head. if my gal is the level-headed sort and knows wat she's doing, then i'd let her handle it the way she thinks best but of course giving her my opinions when needed. of course i would be unhappy about it, even if it's just the fact that someone (doesn't have to be her ex) is harassing her and causing her unhappiness or discomfort.
if she's the insipid type that has no idea how to handle the situation, with her permission i'd take matters into my hands and probably give the guy a call first and speak amiably. i doubt i'd turn violent with him unless he personally offends me (takes more than words on the phone to offend me, if he's a "xiao ren"[/i]). another step would be to get my gf to change her handphone number. just depends on how far he wants to take the "war". there's always a restraining order from the courts, as a last resort. -
