actually, u not bad liao, can pull such a large crowd for a dinner invitation.
i was the first one to arrive. and when i was looking for seats, the drink stall uncle asked me how many friends i'm expecting. geez, i dunno how to reply, coz i dunno the exact number. i anyhow humtum and quoted 10, and he juz joined 2 tables for me.
i said not enuff, need to join more, but he insisted that 2 tables can accomodate 10. then i realised that by quoting 10, it was too little! i was thinking to myself, wow... juz a dinner alone can draw a crowd of more than 10 ppl.
see how much face u have?
i usually dont come out on sundays one, frankly speaking. but i really like the company a lot, which also includes u.
i'm sure everyone who attended the dinner feels the same too, and that's the reason why they turned up. if not, the west-siders (which made up almost half of the attendees) could have juz stayed in bt batok alif to settle their dinner rather than coming all the way to serangoon gdns.
if this dinner were to be invited by me, most likely i wud have done worse than u. i think i will expect the west-siders to say "aiyah, come to the west side lah."
so u realised how much popularity u have? i'm so envious of u!
anyway, it's ok lah, we understand that this is ur first time. juz treat it as an experience loh. at least next time u know what to do already.
don't give up juz becoz u think u r a bad organiser. jia you!!
