In Pakistan, the girl would have been killed by HER OWN FAMILY.
The boy would have gotten away scot-free.. that is, if his family is of high status.
If family of boy has low status and the girl's of high status, then she'll probably be killed again by her own family and the sister of the boy would probably be gang-raped by the "council members" then murdered.
