i aint really keeping track of laptop models lately coz mine will still lasts for another 2 years or more.
for durability and performance, fujitsu has tons of C-series on newspaper advertisement (esp computer times). you probably wanna go thru the specs first.
for elegancy and portability, look into the S-series.
their models are ever changing. thus, I can only describe it generally.
let me know if you want my supplier's contact. he probably can get you a better price. -

to be honest i really can't compare laptops becos this one i'm using now (lifebook s6010x) is the first laptop that i've every owned. but i have absolutely no complaints about it. i might mentioned that i dropped it b4, on hard concrete, from a kopitiam stool, say about 45cm height?
of course got dent abit... but otherwise nothing was wrong.
to me lifebooks are the best looking laptops too! -

so i'm "mistreating" the battery, but still gives me 2hours ++++ b4 it dies, which is the same time it lasted me when it was brand new. also depends on ur screen brightness, wat colours u use, whether u play music, blah blah blah...

MIne when I 1st bought lasted around 3hours, after 2months 45mins flat.....I always leave my batt in the bay, even when I plug in or not. Most of the time I do mulit task maybe that's why I presume.Originally posted by jOhO:well i can only confirm my laptop.

in a way, it will stop "accepting" charges once it reaches the peak.
