What do you all think of the quality of Nike Shoes?

nnb, after wearing a nike shoe for 1 year, you will notice that the air under your soles will squeak, or got water sound.. damn irritating..
I have wore 1 or 2 pairs of nike shoes already and all give me the same thing.. 
and i think that nike shoes are abit overpriced.. i think we are buying their brand, and maybe their average quality..
so what shoe can last for a few years? new balance from SAF? bata? Power? addidas? reebok? asics?

cost of producing a pair of shoes with average quality = $50
cost of producing a pair of shoes with average quality in mass = $20
price of buying a pair of shoes with average quality produced in mass = $40
price of buying a pair of shoes with average quality produced in mass with a nike brand = $200
price of the ability to distinguish between buying a product and buy a brand = priceless. -
never buy nike shoes b4... i would most prefer Addias..

da reason my first pair spoil coz i everyday wear... go where also where... coz i only got dat pair or shoes/slippers/soccer boots/ all rolled into one...
now got another pair...
adidas shoes also not bad... but i mean da street soccer boots n boots.... -

Hehheh, PERSONALLY I like NIKE shoes ALOT... Because they VERY CHIO and STYLO...? ~Hohoho...
Though I'm not the kinda guy who goes for the BRAND but NIKE shoes are one of the EXCEPTIONs...
I have to admit that Nike shoes nowadays really don't seems to be out for the EXTREME DUTIES but more like just for the LOOK of it.... If you wanna be extra carefully, CHOOSE your shoes WISELY... Personally from my expreience in choosing among the shoes... I find that the more 'CHIO' ones usually ain't that good in 'performance'....
If you wanna talk about sports shoes that REALLY LAST.. I'll recommend SAF's NEW BALANCE... -

I think Nike top mgt shd see our posts & wake up in time - losing die hard fans is a serious matter . You can get decent quality nike if you willing to pay $ 200 or more .
Can't Tahan so switch to NB but still wearing Nike socks -
nike is all about brands. Frankly speaking, running shoes is asics better but when MOST people think of buying one running shoe, they first think of nike. Tennis shoes have better performance brands like Fila or K Swiss but when think of tennis shoes, MOST people think of NIKE. THis is branding to the point of TOP OF MIND recall. Same theory with coke. Sometimes if u observe close enough, when at coffeeshop, when people ask u eh what drink u wanna drink and u cant decide, sometimes u will just blurt out COKE. thats why the COKE brand alone, JUST the name is worth US$69 billion. Interesting huh, unfortunately we consumers will forever believe in branding, no way to escape that.
