  from how i see it, there are four areas to improve on, starting from the basic:
  
  1. serve, save and pass
  2. spike save
  3. set and coordinate
  4. spike
  
  serve & save
  this one simple. just have two on each side of the court serving while the other side hitting back. be accustomed to underhand first, before even attmpting on overhead.
  
  pass and set
  two to three persons, anywhere will do. just practise hitting and setting the ball to and fro.
  
  set, coordinate and spike
  2v2 or 3v3. objective is to go thru save, set & spike.
  
  spike save
  not necessary in the court. just play in group with two rows. spike and save occasionally.
