I just saw a documentary called, "Wild Wood New Jersy" today. A bunch of 13-18 years old bimbo looking girls were talking about how they "lost their virginity" and how somet of them think that the guy they "lost their virginity to " doesn't deserve it. They went on for at least 30 min during the doc.
Now, not that i have anything against bimbo looking girls. I just always find the expression "losing virginity" kind of bizzard. First of all, to lose something means that you don't know how or where you lose it, that's why you can't find it again. "Virginity" isn't something that others can sneak into your apartment and steal it from you (unless you're drugged...). I always get annoyed whenever someone said, "so when did you lose your virginity?" I often tell them, "I wouldn't say that I lost it, I know where it went, how it's gone and when did it take place. It's more like I gave it away, what's the fun of keeping it anyway??" I suppose most people out there knows how, where and to whom they "lost their viriginity". So I think the expression, "losing one's virginity" should be changed to, "giving away one's virginity"...
what do you think?
P.S. yes, I AM bored. :p
not that i dun agree with u
its jus that in some cases, it might have been cheated away from them.... most of the time, the person who got it happens to be an "ex" so i wld call it lost....
