i heard from my friend that it's best not to go Bai Nian on the 3rd day of CNY.........heard something like related to beggars or something.......anyone can enlighten me??

chu san pai nian no problem.......why some ppl say no good because chu san is bai hu ri...........=ta xiong ri..,chong ren....dats y may see blood easily..so in olden days those folks think its better to stay indoor that day..but to mi i think is ok...
but this yr chu san is si jue ri...so can dun go dun go loh...might hv quarrel or fights easily...
wear black is a sure no thing in new yr loh..
