SINGAPORE -- Another seven people have come down with the severe acute respiratory syndrome (Sars), bringing the total number of people with the disease here to 51.
Of the seven new patients, three are hospital staff members and the rest are close contacts of patients, the Health Ministry disclosed in a press statement on Sunday.
So far, only three patients, including two index cases, have been discharged from the Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
To reduce the risk of infection, the TTSH on Saturday announced that it will not admit new patients other than those with Sars.
