heard 1 of them played star of dreams at istana in chinese new year. a little need to touch up and it will be done! nice sound from the horns! -

Hmm....looks like the Sec 4s this year's gonna have a hard time and might not even take part in the central judging this July....hmm, let's hope everything goes on smoothly this time round.

heard that syf central judging for jc is still on may 7, can anybody who knows better verify this piece of news?
if it is true, then....die die....coz due to the sars epidermic and sch closure, my sch feels that cca is not very impt now, and they cancelled all cca activities until like 30 apr...which will be the 1st time the jc1s come in and play with us....sigh....how to go for syf with one wk's prac....*sweat* -

my conductor planning for 4-7pm pracs on the extra sch week in june hols... when we have normal lessons! i think my sch sec4s can go die liao......
btw the jc one, i heard hcjc just stop for that week that jcs open, den this week continue.. -
I think I remembered my principal banning the school from taking part in syf competition because of studies, but can't blame her for it because your GCE O or A level certs is going to affect your lives more than the memory of a syf competition.
On the bright side, what you have learnt from your practices is already a part of you. -
sigh. kind of waiting to get it over with, actually... imagine the schools which get into the finals. i mean, if the Central Judging's in July, they have to hold the finals even later, but October's full of EOYs; practs will be stopped. and even before October, it's a little early for the finals...

eh... its like i think now, syf SUPPOED to b over. but we r still slugging it out. its getting sian to play same song over n over again, though i love my choice piece to bits, but play too much also a bit gek

incidentally, i have no cca for the next two weeks. Life is boring. There's a high chance of the sec 4s being kicked out of the syf due to the big fat horrible o levels. But it would seem as though we accomplised nothing for the band, and wouldn't be leading the band through this syf. argh, so sad

For our school, i tink whether sec 4 can play or not dfepends on my results. so if majority do well, i tink can play. now, for sec 4s, band prac stop already lor, in preparation of mid year exam. sigh. and i tot i could be rejoicing that syf would be open on 15th april. anywae, since no top 5, i tink getting a gold is as good as getting top 5. that's what most gold bands would probably be bragging about

my sch doesnt seem to have any intention to stop sec4s from going.... they nv say anything YET
