~When Romance Felt Like A Passing Comet In The Sky~

. . . A Sad Love Story . . .
few years ago
two friends fell in love with each other
they were very happy together
and felt at ease with each other's company
they shared good moments
shared personal experiences
conveyed through many sms and e-mails
but all the while
they had been aware
of the innocent feeling of love
that existed between them
before friendship began
still, they are willing
to allow the friendship
to grow into something deeper
in a natural way
then one day
the man asked the woman out
and she agreed.
it was a very beautiful evening
though a light rain was showering the place
however...
some days later
the woman began to think
about a past relationship......
and the one between she and this man she knew
she felt confused
fearing that this man she knew
might subconsciously became a replacement
for the recovery of the breakup with her ex
who still kept contact with her as casual friends
she did not want to lose the second man
yet she felt if she told him that she
needed time to recover from her breakup with ex
this man might gave her up and moved on
she knew this was a selfish thought
at the same time
the woman did not want
to hurt the second man
who used to be her best friend
she also was afraid
that the second man might not
be able to fully accept her in the future
as she had a physical birth defect
whose pain she hardly spoke about
which she suffered in silence
in the end
she did something she would not forget:
she gave the second man up
this decision she made
not only hurt this man
but it hurt herself as well
the woman did this
only because she wanted to be fair to the second man
she felt he deserved a "better" partner
till this day
she had never been able
to tell the truth to the second man
and the truth is,
the reason why she had chosen to give him up in the beginning
was because she just wanted him
to be really happy with the one
who would deserve his love better
with someone who would truly make him happy
it was a painful thing for her to do
but the happy memories they once had
would forever stay in her heart

i see this as a case of no-communication.
she decided his fate for him. thinkning tat he deserved someone better.

It is not only sad, she is an arrogant selfish self-deceiving fool, who thought she is being noble by doing something that she imagined to be best for him. The truth is that she will be unhappy if she realised that their so called innocent love is an illusion she had created for herself, she imagined this innocence, this fairy tale she conjured, and she would rather give it up so she can remain noble and pure, and that the memories can be just what she desired, so she can tell herself that, hey, I did he right thing so i am not guilty. She looked down on herself, and chose the wrong choice. Did she even think what the guy was feeling? There is always someone better, but there is only one her in the universe. Period. Sometimes when a girl/guy initiates a break up, he/she feels that it might be a better way out..dun want to hurt the partner deeper or feel that he/she deserves someone better..
I hate it when i just have to accept his decision..no matter how much i love him..no matter how unwilling i may be..i still have to let go..coz his mind is set..there's nothing i can do to make him stay.
I feel that....it's better to break when both parties dun have feelings for each other anymore...if not...if the girl/guy still love him/her after the break up..it takes a long time to heal the wound.. -
