Those in a love relationship, do you feel this way?
My jiemei is so heart broken now, bcos her bf went to meet 2 girls alone yesterday, and even sent them to the bus stop before he going to meet her. She's really upset, coz they made a pact not to meet someone of the opposite gender alone.
I find it silly to make such a pact lor.. being attached means cannot go out with a fren of the opposite gender alone meh? haiyo.. together almost 5 years liao still have so little faith in each other.. haiz..
so im curious, what are the restrictions you set for your bf/gf? And why do you think they are necessary? -
Attached = got restrictions.. wat to do.. bobian.. try to compromise, accommodate, understand and trust lor.. if cannot den quarrel den make up again lor..

sometimes is not say very long together means u can fully trust that person until u can let him or her go out with a bunch of ppl of the opposite gender mah...theres still the sense of jealousy la i feel...for me i dun restrict my gf from anything bah...oh except dun get drunk when out with frens without me arnd...i tink mayb u trust ur frens la, but as long as its not me who knws them well enough for many years...i dun trust them that well=p my gf oso hangs out with her guy frens one mah...will still feel jealous la actuali but i trust her la...Originally posted by browniebaobao:Those in a love relationship, do you feel this way?

Maybe it's the mutual trust that you need to establish in a relationship, and try to be as transparent as you handle friendships, especially with opposite sex...
Sometimes it's joy to be attached and be controlled by your loved ones... But always there's also some space needed by yourself and your loved ones...
Respect that space of the individual is important... Learning not to be overboard is equally important... -

Restrictions are made....because they are afraid that the significant other does something unfaithful...or something he/she assume that it may lead to something unfaithful.

Hmm I always think that...once you get into a relationship, definitely you will lose some of the freedom you once have as a single...
I don't really restrict, unless I notice my dear becomes obsessed with certain activities that will bring negative effects to him ie playing too much games lolz then I will step in and tell him to watch what he is doing. But havent come to a point when I need to issue an official restriction yet
As to meeting the people from the opposite gender, I am pretty alright with it, he even stayed over quite frequently nowadays in his ex-crush's house (with a group of other frens of cos) and I never restricted that, provided he let me call him at around 1030pm for a short talk. If he is busy during that time, he will call back hehe. So I guess that's the only restriction: we have to talk for at least 1/2 hour everyday, unless one of us is overseas or has some other urgent problems. -
