Just tell yourself not to sweat the small stuff. I'm not trying to belittle your feelings for her; I'm just saying that in the bigger picture of things, it's all small stuff.
There are plenty of things to be appreciative of. You and I are both NUS undergrads; there are people out there who want to be in our shoes but can't afford to do so. You still have your health, your studies, your family... some people simply don't have these things.
You may not have her... but what the universe taketh, it giveth something in return. Even when the 'taketh-ing' seems greater than the 'giveth-ing', just remember, you will get something bigger in return if you're willing to work for it.
Sorry if my last paragraph seems corny; but that's my way of handling things. Better to be corny than crying, methinks. -
