another romantic thing i did for my exs..
I cooked.
for the first guy, i fried rice and his fav fish fillets. put the 3 fish fillets on top of the rice, use chilli to write the words 'i love you' on the fillets. love in the shape of a heart la. and also cooked sweet potato red bean soup for him.
for the second guy, i cooked desserts. he made me 3 mini nonya rice dumplings too. that's the first time any guy ever made something for me to eat. he also bought my fav wang zai xiao mang tou. So far he's the only guy who did that. so very touched. -
I specially went all out the way during each lunch time to kapok 4 - 6 colorful straws for weaving into stars. 2 straws made a star. And I cldn't possibly take a whole handful of straws to the astonishment of the dao huay zui owner! So the process of making lots of stars was painfully slow.
So this routine went on for a few months and I presented the stars in a white box with blue ribbons for his birthday. I had pretended that I had forgotten totally abt his bdae. I got my brother to lure him out of the house on the pretext to send my brother to the bus stop. When he came back, the whole house was dark except for a lit candle. On the living room table was my box and amongst the stars in the box, I had even a little glass bottle with a tiny slip of message in it. There was also an envelope beside the box with my letter to tell him how much I loved him.
And some other little loving gestures here & there... but it's all over anyway.
