i liken "looks" to a well prepared resume, good enough to impress the admin manager to ask you in for an interview.
i believe somewhere out there lies that special someone who holds the missing piece of the jig-saw puzzle of dreams you have.
"looks" may be superficial, but i guess we all are always attracted by the first look... anyway given more time, one will be able to make good use of his/her strong points/forte to win the heart of the person he/she admire. -

Good looks, money, height and other external characteristics are factors that you are born with and which cannot be changed.
But time and opportunities are things you can work for and improve on if you just TRY. Same goes for your character and other less obvious defining characteristics which are what really matter at the end of it all. -
