  did u know vtec (variable valve timing technology, to be precise) wasn't invented by the japs? think it was alfa or some lower end european brand. the japs copied it, improved on it and marketed it better.

  haha power chords can be played by anyone and trust me on this, if a guitarist onli noes power chords...er...then maybe he should learn more stuff. u rarely see lead guitars nowadays, with the advent of many genres, like Nu metal, modern rock, indie and stuff. Dun be mistaken, those so called leads u hear on these songs are not leads but riffs. just repetitive shapes played over and over again but hey it sounds nice too. real lead u wanna hear, go listen to old skool tracks man, from GNR, Skid Rock and all the other 80s and even older rock bands...theirs are LEAD GUITARS man...so well, here we go, listen to what u like and stop criticising lah, its doesnt help at all
  
  u noe to be frank, its all these criticisms that make local music impossible to take off man...the bands are struggling, some made it but who recognise them? organise free gigs, people come and complain, criticise...what good does it do to criticise others? music is not equal to what u like, music = respecting and relating.
