GC8V in Ver3

Anyone one else used the GC8V in ver3? I tried it and it seems that this car still cannot change any parts. Or do I need to be fully tuned then I'll get a part change option? If GC8V realy cannot change parts then I think maybe I'll change car.

I haven't seen any part change being offered in GC8V in ver3. At least those that I saw didn't get any part change offer. Or probably their points are too high and they simply have to kept upgrading until the max of their points are reached. I have a basic tune bunta's wrx with 120kpts. If I found out anything, I would post it here. I reckon ver3 should include bunta's wrx...probably as another code. And hopefully the bunta's wrx in ver3 will have tune and part change options.
By the way, isn't GC8V good in ver3? I have seen gc8v, evos and rx8 and they all handled pretty good in ver3. Probably we might see a flood of rx8s vs evos in the arcades pretty soon. -
Actually the GC8V I'm using is brought over from ver2. In ver3 can you just select this WRX or do you still need the code? I already got 2.5 million points and I just tried the game to see how it's like. I drove like crap for 1 round to try and get a part change but then I realised that when you're tuning/upgrading, you won't get a part change.
Oh no to get to 990k max tune is another 55 games away, that is $110. Nooo

I can't really say if the GC8V is good in ver3 since I only played $10 worth. Must also minus the $2 cost to upgrade to new card. So I played 4 games only. But the GC8V handles almost like ver2 just that acceleration is more realistic now so it's slightly slower, also feel it's slightly heavier. Also most of the turns now have to be taken at about 10km/h slower. -
Ah I know how to make cheaper. Play Battle mode alternate winning and losing so each person just pays $1 to play each time. Only thing is that Battle stats won't be nice since you win as many times as you lose.

Ok I got my GC8V fully tuned. And I didn't get any parts change even though I played for about 5 more games after last tune.
So if anyone wants to use this car, you're going to have to accept that there is no parts change. -

Can win the story mode so I guess it's not bad. Kind of nice, the last part when win Bunta at Akina and the video shows 2 WRX racing one after the other.
I like its even acceleration and sound of the engine. Good traction since 4WD. But then also cannot do very sharp turns like for Iro.
