I saw someone using a 12k rpm tachcomter in the initial d ver 2 game... his speed is terribly fast... how can i get that? Pls advice..

If you are driving the Toyota Trueno AE86, most probably you will get the 12k rpm meter..

u mean only that car has the 12k rpm tachcometer? Cos that time i saw that car has that tachcometer, so i went to purchase another card of trueno AE86...but nv got the 12k rpm tachcometer...so i was wondering whether need to attain certain points in order to get that. Thansk for your help!

yupyup, my DC2 has the 10k rpm tachometer. The higher the rpm => you can "drag" each gear to a higher speed. Thus speed will not reduce to lower than that (as compare to a 10k rpm) when you drop your gear mah. For example with a 10k rpm tachometer, you can drag your 4th gear to 135km/hr but for the 12k rpm tachometer, you can drag your 4th gear to 150km/hr. Wouldnt the latter be better when you down your gear from 5th to 4th?

yeah.... my friend has a 86 but until now he has gt 50000 points and hasn't got the 12k tachcometer..... when and how does he get tat? the Suzuki Capunchino has the 12k tachcometer... I saw a pro using tat car at PS!!!!! DAMN FAST...

For treuno 86, maybe need full modification in oreder to get the 12k rpm... I think i will stick to m DC2 and try to perfect my turning..

only EA11R and AE86 Trueno have 12k rpm tachcometer. for EA11R u r started off with it but for Trueno u must use tune A(takumi's tune) when u have 120k points u will get it...

it's true to use a trueno 86 Spec option A and complete the tuning then you will get the 12 k rpm
the difference is great ... you can win a lot of car for uphill
i'm only using trueno 86. i love the car. Try using it to win a lot of pple ... but the first acceleration lose to some car but later part will overtake.
not much pple like using it... but it's nice ..hard to control..
