Need Help In Mr2(sw20) Tuning

My car is a mr2 with a B tune and bout 300,000 points already but still the car damn difficult to drive. Just need hep on what tune to get den i can finally defeat the stupid Kopi car another time to finish the game "yet: again. Any tips??

a fully tuned car at around 950,000 points will be the fastest, in terms of acceleration and handling.. I'm not sure about the Mr2 but I can tell you that the DC2 or the RX7 has the best handling in the game..

Using a MR2 requires a very different racing line from other cars .
Main reason for different racing line? The name "MR-2" is pretty self explanatory. The car is a MR car, being that MR stands for Midship-Rear wheel drive. What makes this car so wierd that it deserves such a wierd name? For one, MR2's engine is at the back, where the boot is. Those who watched Initial D 3rd Stage will see Kai's father tuning the engine at the boot. When the engine's at the back, it also means that the center of gravity of the car is shifted to the middle, and not like other drivetrains (FR, FF, 4WD). MR cars are unique in this way.
Having said that, this car drifts differently from any other car (even its younger sister, the MR-S). This car offers pickup faster than any other. (I don't know how it works in Initial D) Which is why sports car around the world (Ferrari F50s, Lamborghini Murcielago, Porsche) all have their engines at the back. Even the F1 cars have their engines at the back.
If you understood what i said above, You'd know the reason why MR2 requires a different racing line. When the car drifts, all the weight is shifted to the back of the car, meaning your ass will literally try to swing forward (thus the huge countersteering required for the MR2). Which makes this car very very weak in Akagi. The MR2 is almost impossible to control properly in Akagi wet. The MR2 requires a certain skill to use properly. For high speed tracks like Usui and AKagi, the MR2 will have many disadvantages, but when it comes to the one and only low speed track in the game, Irohazaka, I belive that a good MR2 driver can topple even the Best Spirit-R/Intergra efforts. We'll just have to see if anyone will bother to train up for it. -

It's actually the way of how you drive your car. For example, when approaching a turn, some people like to keep in the inner radius of the turn, which is wrong. You should use the out-in-out method while turning around a turn to maintain maximum efficient speed. As for you, I can't really say turning in early or late is the best way as different people have different technique. You should keep on the outer radius of the turn and turn your car at the time which you think will reach the the inner radius of the turn at the middle of the turn.Originally posted by boredbugger:So......should i turn my car earlier or later????

well, i too have a MR2 Sw20 Car... mine is Type A....
Well, for what i see.... This car can't go up hill at 1st 2nd..till point full then no problem. well the turning is good... if u know how to...(try changing Gear while turing.......)most ppl did't....
well, i too still not 100% know of how to drive that car...
