SAME THINKING!
Before I enter W4B I was thinking like this.. But after I came out, everything change.
I goes " Oh I see. So there are a lot of factors to be consider for best way to carry school bag"
Here is my shrinked RJ. Well, the original draft also included factors such as Biomechanics and Respiratory impact and variables.
I have gain many insights from todayÂ’s talk. Overall, I have learnt some the best ways of carrying school bag.
The common two ways of carrying a load are backpack and sling bag. Backpacks are easy to use, versatile and symmetrical. However, the disadvantage of backpack is such that they exert strain on shoulder, neck and the lower back. While Sling bags are also versatile, they exert strain on the shoulder as well.
We everyday uses backpack as use it as a form of carrying loads. People use backpack range from students to professionals, and sportsman to shoppers. In addition, over the years, the loads carried have increase steadily over the centuries. Therefore, I feel that it is very important to examine the different ways to carry school bags in order to minimize the damage caused to the body.
The most recommended way of carrying a backpack is when the distance between the line of gravity of the body to the centre of the load is the shortest. I have learnt that cushioned backpacks with vertical straps together with chest strap ARE the ideal type of backpack to carry. It reduces the physical strain and stress to the body in terms of musculoskeletal system. Best position to carry load is between T5 to T12 Thoracic vertebrae.
