Why Men Flick the TV Channels
A man flicking the channel with the remote control is one if womenÂ’s pet hates. He sits there like a zombie just flicking, not paying attention to any particular program.
When a man does this, he’s mentally sitting on his rock and often doesn’t even see what’s happening on each station. He just searches for the bottom line in each story. By channel flicking he can forget about his own problems and look for solutions to other people’s. Women don’t flick channels – they watch a program and search for the storyline, the feeling and relationship of those
involved in the story.
Newspaper addiction serves the same purpose for men. Women need to understand that how men do these things they canÂ’t hear or remember much, so it is difficult to try talking with them. Instead, make an appointment and give him an agenda.
Remember, his forefathers spent over a million years sitting expressionless on a rock surveying the horizon, so this comes naturally to him and he is comfortable doing it.

Actually in this book. they had it written cater to people to ask alot of this kinda of questions.
