Sometimes though, it hurts if you are too blunt
I've always believed it's better to have one more friend than one extra enemy. State (not shove) your opinion and listen to others, respect their view and perhaps you [b]just might find that people are less quick to take offense at your statements
See you around~

Point noted but I beg to differ about having one more friend just becos it's better than having one more enemy. I'll have one more friend because that person is worth my friendship and I'm worth theirs. In other words, it will never be a choice of the lesser of two evils for me. If I have a choice that I be his friend rather than his enemy but I have to mince my words all the time, than i rather be his enemy if it's gotta be that way. I guess it sounds harsh, but, again, I don't want or need to colour my words in baby blue.
If I come across as shoving statements down people's throat then it's one or both two things, that people don't know me well enough, and that there is room for improvement on my part where tact is concerned. Both are very highly likely and of course, the only thing that I can help, and will only do, is to be more tactful. I sure as hell am not going to be begging for people to know me better, and hence understand where I'm coming from.
You are right about being more sensitive in what I say. Even from the little you know about me, I believe you can assume that what people think of me is hardly my concern. However, live and let live is something I agree with, so for now I shall concur and take heed in what you have said.
As for respecting what people have said, I wonder if the respect is given automatically because they have the right to say anything, akin to the "freedom of speech" crap, or that what they say is respectable hence credit is given where it is due. Not everything I read I will discredit, nor will I automatically respect a person for having written something by virtue of the fact that he can write.
Well see you around too! Like a fruit loop?
