if u dun mind to start from scratch... then i dun think $$ is a very impt factor... after all... $$ can slowly increase as u progress in the new line.....

sometimes... i really agree that youth, is our biggest asset...
as long we still never hit the "targeted" age of "employee seekers"
we can try to join in their company... (i think...)
because they might find it more worthwhile to "invest" in upgrading ur skills and so on.... and since u have the "youth" they might see it that u can stay on long (context now is, the job that u like)
so... in the long run, ur pay can reach the present high, or even higher, depends on the job.... -

That was what I thought of when I completed NS. But my ex gf that time advise me that while I still young, I should work hard and go for something that pays well instead of doing relaxing job learning nothing and get that little pay at the end of the months. if for me... i'd search for sumthing that is more or less within my scope of interest.... but still holding on to my present job first...
then enquire through fone, abt how the job is like....
try and try to find alot of other jobs loh
then finally... when u finally find that it's more or less what u want, then interview first loh
such things... shld be.... "quite ok"
but of course planning with ur current job and new job... shld be made, for allowances
