ChelseaChelsea could seal the title on Saturday against Bolton, but may well play an under-strength side ahead of their crunch UEFA Champions League semi-final second leg.
Although they may not be thinking about Europe until next season, the Champions League could prove key to Bolton - with Chelsea likely to rest players ahead of their second leg against Liverpool.
Jose Mourinho is almost certain to make changes to the team that earned a 0-0 draw against The Reds - despite the fact that victory would ensure that Chelsea win their first Premiership title.
Hosts Bolton are just four points behind Everton in fourth spot and still believes that they can seal a Champions League place for the next campaign.
Chelsea will be without long-term absentees Scott Parker, Paulo Ferreira and Wayne Bridge, and Damien Duff is recovering from a hamstring strain.
Arjen Robben featured as a substitute against Liverpool but is unlikely to be risked, whilst the likes of Didier Drogba, Eidur Gudjohnsen and a whole host of other key players may well be left out as a precaution.
Mikael Forssell is likely to feature, and Frank Lampard has insisted that he would like to play despite the European fixture to continue his run of consecutive starts.
Bolton's late push has been boosted by a clean bill of health for Sam Allardyce's cosmopolitan squad and he will be granted the luxury of selecting from all of his players.

Birmingham v Rovers preview
Blackburn RoversInevitably much of the focus has been on Robbie Savage ahead of Blackburn's trip to Birmingham on Saturday.
Savage left Blues for Rovers in typically acrimonious fashion - and the former have insisted Blackburn honour a gentleman's agreement not to play the combative midfielder in the game.
The decision is understandable considering the relative positions of the two teams in the league table.
Both started the season with aspirations of playing European football next year - but Birmingham have never really got their season started and Rovers have only just moved clear of the relegation dogfight - thanks mainly to a renaissance since Mark Hughes took over as manager.
Birmingham are now two points behind Blackburn and depriving them of their star midfielder seems a straightforward proposition.
Hughes and Steve Bruce are old Manchester United colleagues, but there will be no love lost in the chase for higher league position and better prize money.
Birmingham are still without former Rovers star David Dunn, who is out for the rest of the season and Muzzy Izzet is also a long-term absentee.
Doubts remain over the fitness of Jamie Clapham who is recovering from a gashed foot and Julian Gray is recuperating from a calf strain.
Blackburn are waiting on Paul Dickov's fitness but will be hopeful that their top-scorer can feature - whilst the match has come too soon for Jay Bothroyd.

Newcastle v Palace preview
Crystal PalaceCrystal Palace's quest to avoid the drop takes them north to Tyneside to take on a Newcastle side struggling for form.
Palace have shown real fighting spirit in recent weeks and head into Saturday's clash on the back of a 1-0 win over Liverpool, while Newcastle are having a torrid time with their last win being over Sporting in the Uefa Cup at the start of the month.
Poor form, internal wrangles and injuries have hit Newcastle hard in recent weeks and manager Graeme Souness will hope his side can show signs of life against a team sure to be fighting for their lives on Saturday.
Souness was dealt a further blow in the midweek Tyne-Tees derby, as star midfielder Kieron Dyer aggravated an existing hamstring complaint and will play no further part for Newcastle this season.
Dyer joins the likes of Nicky Butt, Aaron Hughes, Jermaine Jenas, Titus Bramble and Celestine Babayaro in the Magpies treatment room.
With Lee Bowyer still out through suspension, Souness' midfield options are limited and it is likely that French teenager Charles N'Zogbia will be pressed into action once again.
Amdy Faye is hopeful of being fit to face The Eagles, while Darren Ambrose will hope to continue in the side having scored at Manchester United last weekend.
Newcastle have looked particularly shot-shy in recent weeks and with Shola Ameobi and Patrick Kluivert nowhere near full fitness, Alan Shearer will likely plough a lone furrow with support from midfield.
Iain Dowie will hope his charges can capitalise on Newcastle's poor form and claim a further three points as they continue their battle against the drop.
In Andy Johnson, Palace have one of the most feared strikers in The Premiership and he will look to take advantage of any lack of confidence on Tyneside.
Dowie has few injuries to contend with for the trip to Tyneside, with only long-term victims Emmerson Boyce and Tommy Black absent from the squad.

Fulham v Everton preview
Everton aim to step closer to a UEFA Champions League place when they visit struggling Fulham.
The Toffees are four points clear of Merseyside rivals Liverpool and fellow Champions League challengers Bolton Wanderers, with an extra game in hand on those two sides.
David Moyes's club have also been buoyed by Uefa's declaration that the rules for next season's Champions League will not be amended, even if Liverpool win the competition this season and finish outside the top four.
The Cottagers are still fighting to keep their place in The Premiership, with Chris Coleman's side sitting just five points above the relegation zone in the table.
Fulham have not won in their last four contests, having succumbed to a 3-1 defeat at West London rivals Chelsea last Saturday.
Coleman will give a late fitness test to striker Andy Cole, as the former England striker looks to recover from an Achilles problem while Papa Bouba Diop came through a reserve match without any problems on Monday.
Sylvain Legwinski, however, remains an injury casualty with groin and pelvis problems, with The Cottagers not expecting the Frenchman to return until the last match of the season against Norwich City, at the earliest.
Moyes, meanwhile, will again be without skipper Alan Stubbs with a shoulder injury that kept him sidelined against Manchester United and Birmingham City.
Alessandro Pistone (hamstring) and Gary Naysmith (ankle) also remain doubts, with Steve Watson set again to play at left back.
Australian Tim Cahill has recovered from a virus and should be fully fit to face The Cottagers.

Liverpool v Boro preview
Rafa Benitez may make changes when Liverpool host Middlesbrough at Anfield on Saturday.
The Spanish coach opted to shuffle his pack before the first leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final at Chelsea, and may do the same with the vital return leg on Tuesday.
Fernando Morientes and Mauricio Pellegrino are likely to return to the starting line-up after being cup-tied for the Champions League.
John Welsh and Anthony Le Tallec could get another chance after starting the defeat at Crystal Palace last Saturday.
Xabi Alonso should play though as he is now suspended for Tuesday's massive Champions League clash.
Benitez has been keen to stress that finishing fourth is still a priority over winning the Champions League but games are running out to catch Everton, who have a cosy four-point advantage with a game in hand.
Steve McClaren's Middlesbrough have struggled since the turn of the year with just three Premiership wins in 2005, but their form has been picking up of late.
Two of their three wins this year have come in April, with a morale-boosting 4-0 win over West Brom last weekend being followed up with a goalless draw at North East rivals Newcastle on Wednesday night.
Stewart Downing should return to the starting line-up after being rested for the first 65 minutes of the draw at Newcastle.
Boro sit in seventh place in The Premiership, the final qualification spot for next year's Uefa Cup, and are desperate to go back into Europe after tasting it for the first time this year.
McClaren will be hoping that The Reds have one eye on Chelsea in order to sneak away from Anfield with a result, while the hosts will want a boost before Tuesday huge game.

Saints v Norwich preview
Norwich travel to Southampton in a fixture that could effectively condemn either side to Championship football next season.
Whilst nothing can be decided officially a defeat for either side would be disastrous with just three games left to play in The Premiership season.
Saints boss Harry Redknapp will be looking for his side to put the embarrassing 4-1 defeat to rivals Pompey behind them, but faces a tough task against Nigel Worthington's in-form Norwich outfit.
The Canaries have picked up ten points from their last four games, including wins against Newcastle and Manchester United, and currently sit two points above bottom-of-the-table Southampton.
The Saints have attacking troubles ahead of the showdown clash as in-form striker Peter Crouch is a major doubt after suffering a hamstring injury, and could well miss the chance to face his former employers.
Crouch's fellow forward Henri Camara may also miss out with a hamstring strain, with Marian Pahars unlikely to feature after jarring his back in Monday's reserve game.
To counter this unfortunate run of injuries Redknapp has recalled youngster Dexter Blackstock from his loan spell with Championship side Plymouth.
The former Oxford man could link up with Brett Ormerod who also had his loan spell with Wigan cut prematurely to solve the striking crisis.
Graeme Le Saux is back from an Achilles injury and could start in midfield, whilst Jason Dodd will make his 400th Premiership appearance if he beats a groin strain after also returning from loan.
In contrast Norwich have virtually a full squad to choose from as only Darren Huckerby is a significant doubt for one of the most important games of the season.
The former Manchester City man is suffering from an ankle injury and is 50-50 after only appearing as a substitute against Charlton on Saturday, although Mattias Jonson is on standby to deputise.
Out-of-favour Philip Mulryne is out with a calf injury whilst Graham Stuart returns to the squad after being left out against The Addicks as a condition of his transfer from the London side.

Man City v Pompey preview
Manchester City's players will hope to secure three points against Portsmouth to strengthen Stuart Pearce's claims for the Eastlands job on a permanent basis.
Pearce has won over the City squad since being placed in charge of team affairs and the players have responded with some solid displays.
A similar comment applies to the situation at Fratton Park, with Alain Perrin steering the club clear of the relegation zone since taking charge.
Pearce was pleased with the display against Blackburn last weekend and is likely to name an unchanged side, although he has challenged his players to dictate the pace from the off against Pompey.
Jon Macken proved his fitness with a goal in the reserves in midweek, but is likely to have to content himself with a place on the bench.
Pearce is still without long-term casualties Jihai Sun, Trevor Sinclair and Geert de Vlieger.
Pompey are not mathematically safe, but the weekend win over Southampton went a long way towards guaranteeing their position in the top flight next term.
Perrin will not allow his side to rest on their laurels and he is demanding a similar high-tempo display at Eastlands.
Pompey will be without two-goal hero Tresor Lomana Lua Lua after he damaged a hamstring against Saints, but his absence is likely to hand Diomansy Kamara a chance to partner Yakubu Aiyegbeni in attack.
Patrik Berger and Andy Griffin are also likely to miss out with ankle and knee knocks respectively.
