Folks, I just confirmed a match on 4 Oct 2002 @ 1700hrs, Tanglin Pitch 1 (the best one, next to church - opp "Gleneagles" Hospital). Fees - $90/-. Please quickly confirm the players under your charge and get back to me immediately. Confirmed players are as follows:

I have also confirmed (12) Michael. Waiting for confirmation from Alvin about Alfred and Jimmy. If both of them are coming, would like to have 2 more subs if possible cos' Ian is still injured, Charle's injuries are not fully recovered and Alfred's injuries are uncertain. I do not want to stretch their injuries. I am looking at Mun Yoong and preferably another defender.
Alvin, pls get Alfred to check with Mun Yoong. Targeting 15-16 players in total.

that every player who turns up have to pay a token sum for the game including 1st timer. 
An advice to all - If possible, purchase and use the necessary guards or braces to protect your legs. The investment may just be worth the while.
I am going to purchase a new pair of ankle braces for both my ankles and maybe my right knee as well. I have been injured before and the feeling is just simply terrible.

Jimmy is confirmed. I will call Alfred when I get over his irresponsible behaviour last sunday.
Does this mean we will not be playing on sunday? If not, we better let Jae and gang know. -
I have contacted (13) Alfred and he will be coming down. (14) Jimmy also confirmed. I can only confirm Mun Yoong tommorrow.

to be honest 4 subs is more than enough...too many substitutions will disrupt the game. we all remember what happened in the last game. we shld save the substitutions for those injured. i think more of us shld really try and last the whole game. we are making changes like every 5-10 minutes in the 2nd half...no wonder we screw everything up in the 2nd half. -

Jae, it's good to see you in here again. Pls feel free to comment on the issues brought up. I believe you may have seen the thread on our team's equipping and future games. As mentioned on Sunday, we hope the 3 of you (yourself, Jason and Tom) can join us. It may seems bery premature but if you have any concerns, pls fee free to bring up. We do not want to rush you guys into anything. Think it thru properly. We are just a committed bunch of soccer fanatics trying to get something going.
Khai, just in case Jae does not read this, pls inform him about this Sun's cancellation. Thanx.
I get your point about the substitutions. I have decided that for the next round onwards, whoever wants to sub, it will have to go thru me first to prevent any screw up again. Presently, I still hope to get one more reliable defender as our defence line is having the most injuries. We have many midfielders and strikers. What do you guys think?? -

Well, God knows how good our opponent is so dun ask me. Everything is arrange by Lobang Referree. I just hope we are not playing some Nigerian team as experienced by Charles when we spoke the other day.....quite funny. That game must wear "armour"...hehehe
