edmund's team (the one that we drew 3-3) wants another game with us on 3 nov morning.
but for the next 2 sundays still no opponent..anybody can get a game this sunday?maybe hong wei brother's team? and subsequently robin's church team the next sunday perhaps?... -
If I recall correctly, Jeremy was supposed to confirm with Robin on our opponents for this Sunday. Any news on that? By the way, Charles is still injured, so I don't think he'll be able to join us this Sunday as well.Originally posted by kai28:brudders,

Hmmm... By the way, Damien is also injured and will most probably sit out this weekend as well. Why don't we focus on getting a game next week? It decided then. No game for this week. Contacted Jeremy yesterday or day before, he is also unable to play as he will be working for this Sun only. With Charles, Damien, Jeremy, Khairul and Marcus out, difficult to hold a game.
Khairul, the game in Nov is fine with me. As for the following week, can we arrange to play with Hong Wei's brother team?
As for this coming Sun, break?? -

I agree with russ. I would prefer playing on the field. Alvin, it would be good if you could confirm if Jae's team is joining us. Would be fun if we could play 7-A-Side. Wat do you guys think??

robin,any update on this sunday's game?
i was thinking if charles can't get his friend's team to play, maybe we can organize a training match.
this time round should try getting our full team down..i've sounded off some more guys from school and they are quite interested to play.jae and gang should be joining us too.
pls let me know soon so that i can give out early warning...would definitely be more meaningful and enjoyable if we can have a full 11-a-side game..
unless of course u guys got any other plans... -

Charles had informed that he is unable to get a team for us this coming Sun. I have approached my church team but they have opponents already.
My church team offered us to take up a match on 4 Nov @ 1500hrs(Mon-Public Holiday) at Tanglin Pitch 1. Money is $90/-. I did not take up the offer as we already have a game on 3 Nov. However, they will let me noe if they can play against us in the coming weekends.
In the meantime, we shall play among our group as per last Sun. I have told Khairul to assist in getting the players. As for the rest of you, pls help Khairul as I am very busy preparing for a trial and I will be on overnite duty this coming Sat. Long week for me.

Hi Jae. A nice surprise to see you in here. We enjoyed the last Sun's session too. You guys are most welcome to join us. It would be fun to have a big group to play 2 sides on the field with big goal poles. I am trying to get another keeper down this Sun so that both sides have a regular keeper. It would be good if you could let us know how many of your guys are coming down this Sun so that we can work on the numbers. We will try to even out the 2 teams. See ya on Sun @ 0930hrs.
Khai, sad to know that the game is off on 3 Nov. Not sure if I can still "salvage" the 4 Nov game as I had rejected it earlier already. Will try though and get back to you guys. In the meantime, let's see if there are other teams avaliable like Hong Wei's brother's team, Alfred's team on 3 Nov. Doesn't matter if they are fitter, stronger etc. All part of the game. -

pls check with those players under your "charge" on their availability for sunday's game asap.try and persuade everybody to come down, i want to make sure we have 2 full teams of 11; 7v7 or 8v8 dun really serve much of a purpose ..for those who are not interested to attend sunday's session, we might want to reconsider calling them down for future games.

Charles & Damien will not be joining us this Sunday. Both of them have not fully recovered from their respective ankle injuries.

I have contacted my church team again but unfortunately, the game on 4 Nov has already been taken.
I am unable to get the bibs for this Sun. As mentioned in one of my earlier threads, I am stepping down as a convenor for my police team (already in the process).
We have to consider purchasing our own stuff and our plans for future games. -
we have 10 players, but think we have to find a few more for substitution...
robin: if there's a keeper for us, that'll be great! -
