I think it will be better if you can let me noe what color our opponent is wearing so that I can get a different color bibs.
As for the switch in positions, I am uncertain what position Alfred can play. However, if he can play in the left back position, I will put him in that position.
As for Khai, he was one of my players under my early management. With his style of play, it is not ideal to put him in a wing position. Khai can control the ball well and I am more comfortable with him playing in the central area. If it's ok, then I will pur him centre left with Damien playing centre right supporting Jimmy. With the 3 of them, we will have a strong centre midfield/defence.
Russ and one of my chaps will then play down the flank feeding balls to you and Lawrence. Actually, I feel that Lawrence is also a suitable choice for right wing as he has the speed and ability. But due to his disc injury and stamina, it will be safer to put him as a striker.
Any comments? Did Khai voice any concerns or preferance?

I agree with your latest plan. I made that suggestion as i felt that Alfred is more suitable than Khairul in a defensive postition. I guess you came out with a better solution. Khairul has no preference but do not wish to play on the left.
The opponents are wearing dark blue or black.

Anyway, for the good job you've done, I'll ignore your "ferguson" comment earlier...
However, I personally think that it might be more ideal for Lawrence and Jimmy to swap places, to add more pace to our attack. But you're the manager, so it's your decision...

Brothers, I have arranged for the referree and another 2 additional players (1 striker and 1 right wing - Played with us during first game). In total, we have got about 12 confirmed players. You guys may want to consider calling down another 2 sub-players. I leave it to you but pls dun call down too many if not, we will not be able to enjoy the game as much. It will be comfortable if we can have 3 rolling-subs (1 already confirmed, need 2 more) on the the side.
Alvin, the referree is charging $35/-. DIff referree from the last time, much cheaper.........he was my ex-colleague. Now in another station. Pls let opponent know the price so that they can make the payment.

Takes time. I sincerely hope that this Sun, I can sort out if the players are interested to commit to our team. Playing 1 or 2 field matches a month. Wat do you think?? Will the players commit? If they can, I was thinking of requesting them to contribute a token fee ($1/$2 for each game) for purchase of beverages etc.
Wywy, after sending Alvin off to Hongkong for a training stint following his transfer from Spurs, I hope that he is worth the investment (instead he puts on 3 kg, how lah?? Headache!! ). What happen to him anyway?? Still at 1819?? Haven't come home??

Although the result of the game was not very desirable, I think we played better as a team yesterday and are moving in the right direction...
Personally enjoyed the game and am looking forward to the next one... Unless Robin starts his "ferguson" nonsense of course... -

Howdy people. I personally enjoyed watching the game from the bylines. Like I have told some of you, both teams were equally good but some of our opponents possessed better individual skills.
Their goals were not scored by set pieces but more of shooting from a distance. If our keeper was more experienced, he would have stopped them quite easily. Overall, our midfield was on par with theirs. Defence was also playing well. Striking can be better. One thing we lost out was the fitness. Many of us were slowly down especially in the midfield area in the late part of the 2nd half. Not much ball winning. However, I'm sure as we play more often, we will be better. As far as the game is concern, I take it as a draw and not a defeat. We will play with a 4-4-2 formation for the next game and see how we fare.
Khairul, it's good to see you in here and know that you can commit to the team (By the way, my wife's name is KAI also ). So far, I can say about 90% of our players who played that day can commit to the team. We are getting this thing going slowly. By any chance, can you check with Ben if he is willing to commit and join us. He is a good player, both hardworking and determine.
Well, I hope that this team will play with passion and at their best. It all boils down to enjoying the sport rather than playing it for other reasons. As for other issues like fitness, we can work it out slowly. -
ben has his own team outside but would not mind coming down for our game if it does not clash with his own team's game..the fella is crazy, he doesn't mind playing two games in 1 sunday.
i hope the next match can be arranged asap so that we will not lose our momentum.let me noe if u nid me to look for opponents.
after our last game i can see that we have quite a good pool of players, so the potential is there. i feel russell should play in the middle coz he's big,strong n has good ball sense/skill. i think he n me can combine well in the middle(rite or not russell??) n jimmy can push up to add speed to our attack like in the 2nd half. alternatively i do not mind playing down the flank.
