i noe it is unfair to compare the two singers, as they are supposed to be individuals, well i cannot help it...
anyway...i do prefer Sun YanZi
y? because i like her unique voice...as in...you immediately know it is her...even when she 'gang chu dao'...after tian hei hei...i can recognise her voice already...
Stella? Her voice's is good...but i cannot
recognise it...(a bit typical lar, sweet and more towards soprano)
but cannot deny one...stella is talented...can play guitar and piano...hehe reminds mi of jim...DUN ASK ME WHY!
but hor...i like celest chong...so bad to say this...but i am rather surprised at her mandrain...comsidering she speaks more english...can she can sing quite well...wow~ i like her "Ju Li" -
Something I found ironic .. cuz Stella is supposed to be this "chuang zhuo xing" type of singer rite .. well well her first hit "Wait" happens to be a cover version of Meja's "It's All About the Money" ...

Views...unfortunately, Stella can never replace Stefanie Sun...although Stella is suppose to be a chuang zuo xing type of singer (don't dispel Stefanie also can write song too)...but due to Stella's too cutesy looks like jolin...so she probably wun be so versatile soon...or her voice is too childish lor.
Talking abt chuang zuo, Penny still does better than Stella...dun forget Sandee Chan and CHeer Chen...
Stella wins becoz she looks cute...but other than tat...no big deal...cai chunjia sings better than her. -
stella is juz a act cute thing loh, last wk u c her sing @ nkf oso noe is not live 1 loh, yah lah, i cannot say daniel sing live too loh. but from the way she tok and from the way she sing u can hear for yrself loh.
i tink stefanie got her very unique singing style.she oso a ger of substance, unlike stella loh, she may write alot of songs....
but not alot of pple tink she wrote nice 1s......joi tsai even sing better den her, is juz tat she neva rilly make big promotions like stella!!!! joi and stefanie r gers of substances...... stella still xiao mei mei ah.........anyway Support singapore singers!!!!!!! soonz, they will rulez.... too bad singapore no boy singers except dreamz fm

all these three new singapore comers must feel proud of them ok? Can make comparisons but do take note that each has its own strengths, Stef very power, Choon Jia beautiful voice and Stella very creative in her compositions.

I hate to sound like a broken record, but I must say again that Cai Li Zhang is a fantastic singer who unfortunately will not get the chance to cut a solo album bcoz he just does not have the looks
As for chuang zuo, does it mean that you know how to play the guitar or write a few songs mean you are a chuang zuo singer? Then Andy Lau is also a chuang zuo singer, coz he writes the lyrics of so many of his songs.
Back to the topic : Stefanie Sun's voice is definitely much better than Stella's. Stella's live is pretty weak, as I had heard on a few occasions. Stella was INITIALLY discovered for her resemblance to Ryoko Hirosue, not because of her "talents". But the producers later discovered that she actually knows how to play the guitar and had composed a few compositions, so they quickly pounced on the opportunity to launch her as a "chuang zuo" singer. Now, that's some goss bits for you.
But frankly, we shall see how Stella fares in another aspect now that she is also acting in ou xiang ju. Maybe she will find herself "another piece of the sky" in acting... -
Well, I suppose God is fair. We very seldom see artistes blessed in both the singing and looks dept. But I still look forward to the day he cuts his very own album. Yeah... Stella inject too much cuteness already... must cut down on the sugar factor... But at least she created a memorable trait tat pple will remember her by... As a new artiste, it is not a bad start...
Actually, Stella's compositions r not bad at all... might appear unpolish to pple but its listenable... though i think it will take some time for her to release her second album if she wants to continue to include her own material as i think she used up most of them in the first already...

Stella ah, finished filming Ju Zi Jiang Nan Hai like one month ago. She sang the theme song for Ju ZI Jiang. the song is not bad, but it's the usual cutesy stuff. Don't like her role in Ju Zi Jiang, act so despo...
