hello! i was just drop by and say that her new album is very nice. the songs is more nicer than her previous album. anyone heard of her songs? plezs give your opinion too.
actually many of her songs have been used in drama serial such as 'lai wo jia ba'. that song title is 'ai gua'. it's a very nice love song.
there's one question that i don't really understand. she's not very popular over here. i don't know why. fish leung is more popular than her eventhough her songs not features in drama serial.

penny's really big in taiwan now though, which means sooner or later...the singaporeans will follow...ahhh...the mystery inside the brain of the commercial music listening singaporean...

Penny has zero advertising in Singapore, maybe that explains? Moreover, Fish Leong is more of a marketing product rather than Penny. If not for "Ni Yao De Ai", I don't know if many Singaporeans will actually know her. Oh, and "Zen Yang" too, which I heard she wrote when she broke up with her ex-bf? But it is good...
Her previous gems like "Xi Guan Zhe Yang" all went unnoticed here (when I mean unnoticed, I mean the charts). She is really good, but I heard she is not super onz about marketing herself? So whether she will catch on here largely depend on the response of the Taiwanese listeners.
I think EMI markets Penny very well here. Heard the album. Really good!!! If she comes here for a promotion or what...i guess more people will take notice of her music.

well, i really agree that her previous album did features some very nice songs like "ceng yang, ni yau de ai' n lots more.
actually she'd make wave in the industry for some time already. last year golden melody award (Malaysia), she won the best singer for the malaysian singer category. she's very talented girl. she composed and sings well too.
i bet her journey will be very far if she keeps on producing good songs!
What is amazing is that she single-handedly wrote all the songs in her new album (as well as her past two albums), and many of them are good quality, no mean feat!
