Taiwan Groups... F4, WeWe, Mayday, S.H.E etc

So I have a topic on Singapore singers... how about Taiwan? Too much solo singers so I concentrate only on groups
F4 - Like their acting in meteor garden, but for their singing, need room for improvement loh, but like their lyrics
WeWe - Didn't have the chance to see their tv series yet, but like their song "Can't hear you", more prefer You Wei (maybe due to his hosting in entertainment news)
Mayday - Although split at the moment, but like their songs (prefer their chinese songs like Wen Rou,etc)
ZIP - Can't really figure out what they singing... hmmm
Wu Bai and China Blue - Got character, like their songs too...
4 in Love - Hmm didn't hear their song, so anyone can comment???
S.H.E - Beautiful ladies but also hear one song so cannot comment much...
So anymore to add??? Too much... Sorry if I miss any groups out! By the way, all above are personal comments... hee hee no offence!!! -
F4 isn't really a band...but they can't really sing...songs wise...okay...and easy to sing.
WeWe...not bad...vocals i tink slightly better than F4...can't differtiate their voices...but i prefer you wei's voice.
SHE...alright...got looks...voices wise...alrite too.

Which group do u think it's more popular recently???
Me think that it's more to teenager idol group... such as F4, WeWe...
However, I think rock type such as Wu Bai still have his own supporters...

Well u guys miss out A.S.O.S. also. They have a new album though i think tat it would be well accepted by the normal pop listerners cos the new selection of songs belong to the morbid type... argh.... But give it a listern juz for the fun o it guys... its hard to find such a rare album in chinese pop culture....
S.H.E got a new album already. New "Zhu Da Ge" is called "Remember". A bit of the hip hop i think the last time i heard it. Alas its also a cover song....

As far as I know SHE is very hot...their albums clinched the no 1 spot in Taiwan during the firstweek of release.

I lIke Ella best. her husky voice is quite unique. Hebe and Serena(is that her name)...their voices so high and squeaky...remind me of Stella.

Yeah, Ella may not be the prettiest of the trio, but she's got a spunky look with a voice to match. Their album pushed Yanzi's Start into the no. 2 spot... my god! it's unbelievable how fans are taking to her "saliva" songs! 250,000 copies sold and still counting...
This is out of topic... but newcomer Ting Wen Qi is also creating some interest... anyone heard her debut album yet? -
Nope never heard yet of this new comer 'Wen Qi'... btw, yes I was aso surprise by the Taiwan fans... wah now the Yan Zi album seems to be in the top best selling album 'START'... Hmm... seems like it's going to be a big year again for her!

Wen Qi ? Did u mean Ding Wen Qi aka Kiki ? She's one sweet girl and the song "Bie" is listenable too
I'd like to comment on these Taiwan Groups esp. on F4, my most fave.
F4 : Personally I loved them to focus on acting instead. Their actings are sincere and real I think that's the most important to capture viewers hearts, even before MG .. Jerry & Ken appeared on Ma La Xian Shi and I can say they're not just the pretty boys ...they have so many things to offer entertainment viewers like us, the other reason why F4 is popular beside fame after Meteor Garden are also because their "real" appearances and great personalities .. their efforts to work their way up and great management, on singing I think the albums are just popular demands, but their songs are listenable, that's the most important and the boys improved a lot and their efforts are worth our support !
Wewe : They're ok, I just prefer Li Wei to focus on acting after watching Tu Shi Nan Zhi Wen (great show btw) ... or maybe hosting as they;re hosting Wan Quan Yu Le ..
Mayday : Their songs are great and their friendship bond ... two thumbs up ! Will miss them a lot these years .. really enjoyed listening to their music and experience their friendship on OK L'a Wu Yue Tian, they're all talented Taiwan young generation, I love all their songs ..
4 in love : I love Rainie the most, she had the sweetest voice, the other one who's been lead vocal is Windy .. I think their songs are cheerful & listenable. Not bad
Jing Xiu : I always find their singing voices soothing & enjoyable, and they can host well too I think ..
so many talented groups .. hehe .. like novellem, I love the different characters on these Taiwan groups, I'm the super greedy, I think every groups have their own lovable style ... there's so many great ones in Taiwan !!!
on SHE, I somehow found REMEMBER like a Japanese pop song ... just din remember the title ... or maybe I'm wrong or sth ... I know they're hot in Taiwan now, din know a lot about them though ...
PS : Sorry I blabbed too much here, enjoying my first visit on the forum ... nice place to visit for a foreigner fan like me hehe

S.H.E.'s Remember is indeed a cover version, but I can't remember the original title.
Their very popular Lian Ren Wei Man is also a cover version of Destiny's Child "Brown Eyes".
Incidentally, me and my friends who had heard the song found that both songs are almost exactly similar down to the last bit, including the music arrangement, except for their voices of course. Destiny's Child's original version is much better, S.H.E.'s voices are too whiny (except for Ella).
But S.H.E. is pretty big in Taiwan now, I must say. Hebe is getting prettier, though I still like Selina best -

although know that S.H.E was very famous in Taiwan since last year... but didn't quite notice them until now their latest album... their Remember quite nice... mayb like the background classical music...

but I heard from some interviews of wewe... they really had a superb brain especially Liwei to store their fans' names... wow! not much idols can do that... -
ok, read that "Remember" was covered from a Korean boyband ShinHwa's song. So there for you...
As for WeWe, I read in the papers that while they were in Singapore, Li Wei fell sick and had to be rushed to the hospital in the middle of the night. Many fans chased him till the hospital and stayed in the emergency room. They were asked to leave but they refused to, creating a scene in the hospital itself until the record company nearly called the police.
Please, Singapore fans, you wanna support idols can, but don't do it in such a sia suay way, can or not? Whatever will the stars think of Singapore fans??? You are not being considerate to your idols ok? When they are sick, they want rest and peace, not that kind of chaos from so-called fans like those mentioned above. -
Yah loh... I read abt that news too... quite disappointed to hear/ see that... I mean it's alright to like your idol... but chase until hospital... hmm sorry to say that... you wanna support your fans... but do you think that Liwei will like that... it's make more trouble for him... he is sick and need to rest liao.... fans still like this... err... anyway, jus hope that he will get well soon

although this is the 93.3fm web forum... but i got another issue from ufm... actually I felt that nowadays... fans are getting more and more out of control... someone even claim that she was Zai Zai's wife... I felt very funny yet scary... can't really imagine what fans are thinking now... after zhao wei's fan dead and leon lai's fans threatening, etc... everything seems too scary now...

4 in love: can sing well but company duno hw to "xuan chuan" for them , thus many ppl do not noe them except for Rainie Yan Chen ling who starred in Meteor Garden
S.H.E: like to act cute...but i like them anyway...nice vocals...like their latest album songs....better than their debut album
ZIP: i like them!!!esp. lead singer " xiao jing"...he can compose songs well....so young n talented...they give me the impression of young ppl....u noe?trends all tat...
Mayday: initially dun like them....bcoz actualli for me to like a group or singer i thk appearance is the most important factor...sad to say but u muz admit tat ppl often judge things by looks first....for example, if a stranger look at u, his first impression will be based on ur looks...Mayday no looks but their song Cai hong quite nice...
Wu Bai: bad attitude weird songs
WEWE: i prefer Youwei....Liwei act cool act yandao sia....hm their songs okok loh....but i thk they kind of like to act like they veri gd to fans...

although ppl say they cant sing....yeah i agree but not totally...bcoz u c...vanness zaizai can actualli sing well....jerry n ken need to improve lar...anyway their main career is ACTING wat...its the stupid company who make them sing...u thk they like it?zaizai confessed tat he prefer acting..jerry confessed tat if he thk he cant sing well he's gonna reject recording a solo album...

well.lam from singapore fan of F4 and l did went to zaizai autograph on last month and zaizai in person look so handsome guy and l did went up there for his autograph and l ever talk to him and zaizai look up and smile to me and ever say thanx to me and that night make me feel soo proud of it and zaizai will not talk to ever of his fans up for his autograph and lam soo lucky if u could talk to your idol right??
zaizai ever shake my hand and say thanx to me and that night l watch until 10 plus then l leave that place and ever took alot of his single photo and many other asking for his photo from me and l will not give anyhow to them and l think u will say to me why am l so proud of it right??it is not what u thinking ok??

I don't think that vanness don't like to sing.Ya lor Ken need to improve in singing.Vic and Jerry is just o.k.Vanness voice is so nice to hear.If you have the album Meteor Rain you try to heard that the choras part is only Vanness voice.
Wewe:I like the Ling You Wei b'coz Li Wei is just like copy cat.Now Vanness cut his hair right Li wei Also Go cut.The first time I saw Li Wei he is so similar to vanness.
May Day:I don't like their songs b'coz cannot hear what are they singing.
Cing Xiu Er Chong Chang:I like ther songs their voice is so nice.
Wu Bai:I think he is so funny.When he is wearing sunglases look so cool then when he didn't wear look so funny.His song's is also very funny to hear.
S.H.E:Their voice also very nice and so beautiful.Only Ella voice different with Selina and Hebe.
4 in Love:I only heard one of their songs "E Cian Ling e Ke Yuan Wang".
